Emma King, daughter of Toby and Jacquie King, was installed as the latest Grand Worthy Advisor from Plainview.

Plainview Assembly #34 attended the 79th Annual Grand Assembly in South Sioux City June 14-16th. Installation of 2024-25 Grand Officers was held on Sunday afternoon. Elected to new officers for next year were Emma Grace King, Grand Worthy Advisor. King is the daughter of Toby and Jacquie (Frahm) King. King’s theme for the year is “Worry Will Not Drown Me”, her mascot is the Koi Fish.

She has selected the colors muted teal, burnt orange and sand for her year and selected the scripture Isaiah 43:2 “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you and you will not drown.” King’s chosen charity project of choice will be to help families with tuition and supplies for their children to attend preschool and early childhood programs.

Also selected to serve new officers were Kylee Lichtenberg: Grand Confidential Observer, Jordynn Frahm: Grand Service, and Kayci Daudt: Grand Hope.

Participating in the events of the rest of the weekend were Grand Officers: Kylee Lichtenberg who served as Grand Outer Observer and member of the Grand Cross of Color Team. Jordynn Frahm was Grand Nature, member of the Grand Cross of Color Team and Memorial Team. Kayci Daudt served as Grand Chaplain and on the Memorial Team. Emma King was Grand Drill Leader and also the Memorial Team. Gaby King was selected as a Grand Page to the Grand Worthy Associate Advisor for the sessions.

Emilee Schroth presented the Rainbow Flag tribute and was a member of the Grand Choir. Jordynn Frahm and Kylee Lichtenberg were also a part of the Grand Representatives parade and skit. Plainview Assembly won the name tag contest and Emerald Assembly of Excellence award.
