Fourth Graders win tourney The Crofton fourth-grade Warrior basketball team competed in a tournament in Verdigre on Feb. 13, winning first-place overall in the event. The Warrior team defeated Creighton in the championship game to win the tournament for third and fourth-graders.

"State 8" qualified for tournament The Crofton-Bloomfield wrestling team captured a fourth-place Class C-1 District tournament finish at Boone Central in Albion, and qualified eight wrestlers for the State Tournament at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Pool Account now open... School counselor Bridget Schumacher accompanied the Crofton Elementary Student Council to Farmers & Merchants State Bank on Wednesday, January 27 to open an account to help finance a new swimming pool in Crofton. Students from grades kindergarten through grade six donated money from their own resources to open the account with $780.24.

Kloster worked security at 2021 Inauguration Crofton resident Eric Kloster is known to his friends and neighbors around town as the "Nebraska State Patrol guy."
