The family of David and Darlene Ausdemore has requested a card shower in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary on April 29. The 2022 Knights of Columbus Hoop Shoot was held in Grand Island at Central Catholic High School this past Saturday, April 9. Jenna Tramp of Crofton finished in third-place, making 21 of her 25 shots. Blake Connot finished in first place shooting 25 of 25 of his shots.

Modern Woodmen members along with several volunteers gathered at the Crofton Senior Center on Wednesday, March 23 to assemble fleece fringed quilts to donate to individuals and families in the Crofton community. Tammy Matusk a, Financial Representative for Modern Woodmen, stated that the Crofton Senior Chapter of Modern Woodmen will be presenting a total of 15 quilts in early April as a community ser vice project.
St. Rose School students raised over $900 and chose to donate it to the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department and Crofton Rescue Squad. “It was a successful fundraiser and students were happy to present the checks to local volunteer squad members,” said organizers.
