Crofton FFA members senior Madelyn Loecker, junior Lauren Loecker, and junior Ellie Foxhoven attended the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis from October 23-26.
Crofton was just one of the many schools from all across America to visit this event. They visited Sessions Lucas Oil Stadium and were talked to by many different agriculture enthusiasts. “We learned a lot about what agriculture means in different places of America,” M. Loecker stated.
The Louisville Slugger Factory was something to remember. They were able to get a tour of the historical monument, a once in a lifetime experience. The factory is also a museum that talks about the history of baseball and the important role Louisville Slugger played in the sport.
Overall the nationals trip was a success and they learned a lot about different agriculture around America. This introduces different opportunities for the kids to learn about things such as possible careers or new ideas that could even be brought to Crofton Community Schools.
