About a week remains until election day on November 5, 2024.
In Crofton, the majority of races on the city and county tickets are contested:
Board of Education: vote for three - Davod Hofmaier, Larry Potts, Lisa Van Heek, Michael Janssen and Jeremy Buschkamp
Crofton City Council: vote for two - James M. Murphy, Jamie Miller, Bryce Rossman, Randy Ausdemore
The Presidential election is on this year’s ballot, as well as the hotly-contested Initiatives for mandatory sick time from employers, and abortion initiatives as well as another marijuana initiative.
Ballots were mailed mid-October and should be returned before the 8 p.m. close of election on November 5 to be counted. Results will be posted in next week’s Journal.
