Junior Jaisie Janssen and senior Sammie Allen reach up for a block

The Lady Warriors took on Summerland at home on Tuesday, September 24. The Warriors had a great game defeating the Bobcats in a three-set-sweep winning 25-16, 25-20, and 25-23.

The Warriors had a good lead against the Bobcats until the third set. Battling back and forth, Summerland tried to come back to take the set, but the Warriors did not let that happen with their aggressive offense. Overall the team had 35 kills with a .095 hitting percentage, 8 blocks, and 3 aces.

Junior Jaisie Janssen finished the game with a total of 18 kills, leading the Warriors offense. With that, Senior Sammie Allen had 16 assists and right behind her was senior Jaida Allen with a total of 15.

The Warriors also had a great serving game with a 94.7 % serving percentage and only missing four the whole match. Senior Cassie Allen also led the match with two aces.

The Warriors all had a great team effort in contributing to the win and Jaisie Janssen stated, “As a team I thought we executed everything well and made a play when we needed to which led to our win.” The Warriors record now stands 12-4.
