New members were voted in at the July meeting of the Crofton Rescue team (l to r): Niels Anderson EMT, Jana Hutchmeier EMT, Mike Hutchmeier EMT, Jason Wavrunek EMT, Brett Luebbe EMT, Cammi Wavrunek EMT, Danyelle Kleinschmit EMR, Leighann Miller, Driver.
After months of classes and tests, background checks then the big National Registry Test plus ride time and working full time jobs, raising families, one having her first baby, and two getting married (to each other), the Crofton Rescue Squad was very excited to have them join the team as official members.
“We appreciate all they have done to get to this point and look forward to working with them in the future,” said Katie Tramp. The squad has 14 EMTs; three EMRs; and three drivers (one of whom has finished her EMT class and is working on her National Registry test.) “At a time when communities are so short staffed they have to call in other communities to cover a call Crofton is very fortunate that we have the numbers of active members that we do,” said Tramp.
