The 2023 Crofton Alumni Basketball tournament will tip off this weekend on Saturday, March 18 with teams from 2001-2023 representing their classes.
Each team will be guaranteed two games in the bracket (located nearby this story).
Opening rounds will start at 9 a.m. in the local gym with the members of the Classes of 2022-23 taking on 2010-2011-2018.
At 10 a.m. the Classes of 2016-2017 and 2019-2020 will play, and the final first-round game will be between 2001-2002 and 2008-2009-2013 at 11 a.m.
At noon the Classes of 2005-2006-2007 will take on the winners from the first Game 1 at 9 a.m, and the games are scheduled for near every hour after that.
Consolation games will start around 2 p.m., and the Championship finals for “Game 10” will be held at 6 p.m. in the Crofton gym.
There will be an entrance fee charged to students and adults, but attendees under 5 are free. All proceeds will go to support the Crofton Youth Basketball Association.
