DISTRICT CHAMPS!! The West Holt girls track and field team are your class C-5 district champions. The boys came in 3rd place, respectively. A great meet overall for the Huskies, pictures of the meet coming soon!
Another before the meet ends! West Holt girls take home the gold in the 4x400 (Walnofer, Larson, Shaaf and Galyen) and punch their ticket to State! (Time of 4:15.22)
SPEED! A new West Holt record sends the girls 4x100 team (Kratz, Davis, Schaaf and Galeyn) to State with a time of 49.92!!
Two more!! Maddie Davis (runner-up) and Drew Martin (champion) will be representing West Holt in the girls and boys 1600m!
Make the two 200m district champions! Luke Klabenes brings home the gold for West Holt in the boys 200m. Bring on State!
The bad news? Another rain delay. The good news? Abbygail Davis is a district champion in the 200m and will represent West Holt at state!
Makenna Schaaf is Burke Bound in the 300m Hurdles with a time of 47.35!
ANOTHER ONE! Pavan Larson paved her way to a district championship with a time of 2:31.06 in the Girls 800m to solidify her spot at state!
STATE QUALIFIER! Luke Klabenes runs a 10.97 (tied for the West Holt school record) to earn a district championship and a spot at state in the 100m!
STATE QUALIFIER! In the midst of the storm, West Holt sends another runner to Burke! This time it's Maddie Davis, who earned 2nd place in the 3200m. Congrats Maddie!
Back to the action! District track is set to resume with the boys 3200m race after the short weather delay.
WEATHER DELAY: Due to an approaching storm cell, the class C-5 district track meet at West Holt is being put on a delay until 4:00 P.M.
STATE QUALIFIER! Ainsley Galyen has punched her ticket to state in the 400 Meter dash, with a time of 1:00.39, earning her second place in the district!
STATE QUALIFIER! Katelynn Kratz has qualified in girls High Jump, clearing the qualifying height of 5-01 and earning 3rd place!
STATE QUALIFIER!!! Tyler Jelinek of West Holt punches his ticket to state with a second place performance in the Long Jump.
